A NEW EDUCATIONAL HUB OPENED IN VOSNESENSK

Innovative educational space for students, internally displaced persons and children from socially vulnerable groups

✨ On 11 February 2025, the grand opening of the Voznesensk Educational Hub took place — another modern educational space within the Educational Hub Network created by the Association for Innovative and Digital Education (AIDE). This is already the 48th Hub within the global project, which combines technology, psychosocial support, and an inclusive approach to education.

📍 The initiative was implemented as part of the project ‘Emergency Initiative to Support Populations Affected by Conflict in Ukraine and Neighbouring Countries’ with the support of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo - AICS Kiev and the Italian organisation Helpcode - Il diritto di essere bambini with the assistance of the Voznesensk City Council.

The Hub's mission is to provide access to quality education and development for everyone

The goal of the Education Hub is to provide continuous learning, make up for educational losses, and provide psychosocial support and socialisation for children and adolescents, including:

students of general education schools;
internally displaced persons (IDPs);
children with disabilities;
representatives of socially vulnerable groups.

Grand opening and demonstration of the Hub's capabilities

The opening was attended by:

Yevhen Velichko — Mayor of Voznesensk;
Matteo Raineri — Head of Helpcode Mission in Ukraine;
Svitlana Kysilova — Head of the Education Department of the Voznesensk City Council;
Dmytro Bondarenko — Deputy Head of AIDE;
Natalia Zhuravleva — Coordinator of the Education Hub in Voznesensk.

During the event, guests attended festive interactive classes using Artificial Intelligence, virtual reality (VR) and case study methods, and learned about the wide range of educational and social activities offered at the Hub.

What does the Voznesensk Educational Hub offer visitors?

All students can participate in classes and events at the Hub free of charge, including:

📚Individual diagnosis of educational losses using AI and selection of a personalised programme;

🧠Learning through interactive case studies and the ‘flipped classroom’ method;

🌐 Mastering the Ukrainian and English languages;

🧭Taking adaptive career guidance tests with the creation of a Skills Passport for 1000+ modern professions;

🧘‍♀️ Receiving psycho-emotional support;

🤝 Participation in social, sports and family activities;

🚀 Development of 21st century skills: critical thinking, communication, digital literacy, etc.
