On August 24, Ukraine's Independence Day, the Association for Innovative and Digital Education (AIDE) and Ukraine's largest online news platform, Channel 24, presented an innovative social media project — the YouTube channel “Genocode UA”.
The history of Ukraine in new technologies:
The new platform aims to reveal unique stories about national identity, prominent figures, cultural heritage, and Ukraine's contribution to world civilization to Ukrainians and the world.
Podcast “Ukrainians who changed the world”
The channel's first project was a series of podcasts called “Ukrainians who changed the world.” These are stories about twelve of our compatriots whose ideas, discoveries, and achievements have shaped the development of entire industries and influenced the lives of millions of people.
"The podcast's unique feature is its format: short films created entirely with the help of artificial intelligence. For the first time in Ukraine, viewers will be able to see how modern technology recreates the atmosphere of real cinema — with high image quality, realistic characters, and artistic depth that keeps you hooked until the very last second. It is a combination of history and innovation that provides a completely new experience," says project author Dmytro Bondarenko.
The first episode of the podcast, “The Ukrainian Who Taught People to Fly!”, is dedicated to Igor Sikorsky, a brilliant Ukrainian inventor of helicopters who made a breakthrough in global aviation and forever changed humanity's perception of flight.
A new format for historical content
The YouTube channel “Genocode UA” is not just about the past. It is a space where the present meets history, and national memory comes alive thanks to the latest technologies.
New episodes of the podcast will be released weekly.
